When you use Quick Compress:

• No files are uploaded to any server
• Processing happens entirely in your web browser
• Files are stored temporarily in browser memory, cleared when you close the page
• We cannot and do not access your files
• No tracking or analytics on file contents

Your files stay completely private on your device.

When Maximum Compress becomes available, here's how it will work:

• Files uploaded securely to temporary AWS S3 storage
• Processed by AWS Lambda serverless functions
• Automatically deleted after download or after 1 hour (whichever comes first)
• No permanent storage, no logging of file contents
• Only basic metadata logged (file size, processing time) for system operation
• No third-party access to your files

All transfers will use TLS 1.3 encryption. Files are encrypted at rest in S3.

Current status: We do not currently display advertisements on our site. However, we plan to introduce ads in the future to help fund the development and maintenance of free tools for everyone.

When we do introduce advertising, here's what you can expect:

• Third-party ad networks: Services like Google Ads and Amazon Ads may place cookies and use tracking technologies to show personalized ads based on your browsing behavior
• What they will track: Site visits, page views, clicks, and general browsing patterns
• What they will NOT track: Your PDF files, file names, file contents, or anything you process with our tools
• Your choice matters: Our tools will continue to work perfectly with ad blockers enabled. We support your right to browse ad-free, even when ads help fund this site

Clear separation: Ads may track your browsing, but your files will always remain completely private.

In the future, we may include affiliate links to products we recommend, such as Adobe Acrobat or other PDF tools:

• If you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission
• These links may include tracking parameters to measure conversions
• This tracking is separate from your use of our tools and does not access your files
• We will only recommend products we believe are genuinely useful

We may use cookies and analytics for the following purposes:

• First-party analytics: Basic site traffic and usage pattern analysis to improve our service
• Third-party cookies (future): When we introduce advertising, networks like Google and Amazon will place cookies for ad personalization
• No file tracking: We will never track file names, contents, or personal data from your use of PDF tools
• Opt-out options: You can always block cookies using browser settings, ad blockers, or privacy extensions

Note: Using ad blockers will not affect the functionality of our tools. They will continue to work normally.

You control your data. Since Quick Compress processes everything locally:

• We never collect or store your files
• No data deletion is necessary - your files never leave your device
• You maintain complete control and ownership of your files at all times
